Martin founded OVL Group in 1989 in a small office in the centre of Oxford. His vision was to create a vehicle leasing company to give business to business customers outstanding and long-term service.

Early success was built on by recruiting fabulous talent who shared his vision. This can be seen by the length of service of many of the team.

There have been many changes in the market since 1989, and of course none less than we have experienced in 2020, but the agile nature of the business and the outstanding quality of the team has meant that OVL Group has gone from strength to strength.

Martin keeps close to clients and is always interested to gain their feedback. Here is what one such client wrote about OVL Group:

Scott Allen

Sales Director

Scott Allen is Sales Director for OVL and has worked for the group since 2005.

Scott took on the role of Sales Director in June 2022 and is focussed on being part of the leadership team building a bright future for the business.

If there’s anything that Scott doesn’t know about vehicle leasing, it's probably not worth knowing! He’s also the resident "IT support" for the team in the office!

Andrew Beale

Operations Director

Andrew is Operations Director of OVL Group and has worked with the group for over 30 years.

Andrew is driven by the commitment to deliver outstanding service to OVL Group customers.

The operations team ensure customers get the service they expect. Customers' expectations are carefully managed and communicated with, throughout the process from order to post delivery.

Neil Taylor

Account Manager

Neil has worked for OVL since 2005 and a recent change has seen him move from his role as Sales Director to become a part time Account Manager.

Neil's role will continue to utilise the excellent knowledge he has, thanks to thirty-plus years working in the vehicle leasing industry.

Chris Tunnell

Chris Tunnell is Senior Account Director at OVL and has worked for the group since 2010.

Chris works across the business but has excellent knowledge in commercial vehicle leasing.

Prior to joining OVL Chris worked as a Sales Executive in the Broker Division at Lex Autolease.

Kate Day is Account Director and has worked at the group since 2007. Kate builds strong working relationships with her clients and her service feedback second to none. Kate combines an understanding of client needs with her excellent knowledge of vehicle leasing.

Ethan Leslie

Ethan joined OVL Group in June 2023 and brings with him a wealth of experience having worked in the leasing sector for six years.

Ethan first started in the industry in sales support and admin and has since developed and progressed to sales, which gives him a great rounded view.

The last two years has seen Ethan specialist in electric vehicles and hybrids but he has strong knowledge on all types of vehicles and powertrains including light commercial vehicles.

Ethan enjoys building lasting customer relationships and strives to offer the best service possible. He is a fantastic addition to the OVL team.

Geoff Edrich

Marketing Manager

Geoff Edrich is Marketing Manager at OVL and has worked for the group for 10 years.

Geoff had worked with OVL during his 10 years with Lex Vehicle Leasing and 11 years as Account Director with Lombard Vehicle Management so joining OVL was an obvious progression.

Joanna Ryland

Sales Support and Compliance Manager

Joanna joined OVL in April 2021 as Sales Support and Compliance Manager and brings with her a wealth of industry expertise, having worked at Lex Autolease for over 22 years.

Joanna has worked in various customer service roles at Lex Autolease, latterly as Customer Service Manager with a team of 14 people. Her knowledge and contacts are second to none as is her attention to detail throughout the customer journey. In her role, she strives to deliver a streamlined process in sales support whilst overseeing our compliance to industry and regulatory requirements.

Jane England

Jane is Operations Manager of OVL Group. Jane has been at the group for 12 years.

Jane is highly dedicated to giving customers outstanding service underpinned by her attention to detail and tenacity.
